Meet Bryanna, mama to be! We planned this maternity photo shoot in Ruidoso, New Mexico and, unbeknownst to me, she and her husband made quite the trek to get there. He was at work in Louisiana, she was at home in Oklahoma..but they drove all night long! The next day, they met me atop the mountain and magic was made..
it had been storming all day long, but the sun came out at just the right time and lit the clouds up so beautifully
It all started with Twitter..
Blaine + Bmac came to town on a little vacation from Texas and it was the best thing ever. This couples sesh was done the DAY that New Mexico C*vid restrictions were lifted. I can't even put into words how much I loved working with these two and finally meeting them in real life.
I live for sunshine like this, you guys.
even the b+w set was killer
Thank you, Twitter, for bringing us together!
We had to reschedule this cute couple's session due to rain on the original day it was scheduled. It was perfect, though, because we ended up with the most incredible sunset. Kiana and Travis are so in love and that really shines through in all of their photos. When I say we became fast friends..y'all, it was INSTANT! I have so much love for these two, I'm so excited to be sharing this session!
(the gnats were horrendous during this session - don't worry, I try to always bring bug spray to summer sessions!)
They brought some Colorado Kool-Aid to their sesh.
I love, love, love when couples bring things to incorporate into their sessions. It definitely adds a little bit of a personal touch!
When you're from Nebraska, you've GOT to bring some 'Husker gear to your shoot - I think it's a law.
I told y'all about that epic sunset
Thank you, Kiana + Travis, love y'all!
A fun fact you might not know about me is that I lived in Arizona for a few years (I graduated high schoolin AZ!) when I was a teenager. However, when I lived there I didn't do any exploring around the state! So when a photographer friend of mine asked if I wanted to plan a trip there at the beginning of the year, I was so stoked to finally see some of the things I never had. Sedona has always been on my couples's photoshoot bucket list!
Sedona is an absolute dream...and so are Kayden + Zane
This engagement photoshoot knocked my freakin' socks off! We chose White Rock, New Mexico because of the epic location that it is. The day of the session it was really stormy..but the perfect kind of stormy. Photogs, you know what I mean! When I got to the parking lot and looked up at the sky, I instantly knew the sunset would be absolutely unreal. What I didn't know, though, was that we would have a super dope rainbow as well! It was incredibly serendipitous.
If you're debating whether or not to bring your dogs..the answer is always YES PLEASE!
look at those little toofs
the rainbow was better than anything I could have planned
I'll always encourage a booty grab ;)
These two were originally supposed to wed in Colorado. However, thanks to C*vid, plans changed. This incredibly elegant micro wedding took place in the most gorgeous of backyards. With friends and family around them, this beautiful ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. I'm thankful that they chose me to document such a momentous day.
their signature drink: the flying pig
Since it's almost birthday time for her..meet my sweet friend Dalene! We did this photoshoot at Hotel Luna Mystica in Taos, New Mexico for her birthday. It was everything we'd imagined and more.
If you haven't yet been to Hotel Luna Mystica then I suggest you get your behind over there for a stay ASAP!
always bring your significant other to your birthday photoshoot..always
